Urethral Catheterization Model

CREST has been working to collect the forces of urinary catheter placement in unfixed cadaveric male and female donors through a collaboration with the UW Willed Body Program.

A novel force measurement tool was developed and now implemented in these data collection studies.

The UW CREST research team obtained IRB approval for live patient insertion studies in February of 2020 with goals to begin patient studies in late 2020.
