Developed internally as a proof of concept, the Trauma-Laparotomy Simulator provides users with a realistic abdominal trauma tool.
The cavity contains several challenges a surgeon may see after a traumatic accident, including Vena Cava bleed, ruptured spleen and punctured bladders.
The system bleeds steadily and tracks blood loss until relevant tissues are removed and repairs are performed properly.
