GreenLight Sim™
University of Minnesota CREST developed a virtual training device for the American Medical Systems(AMS) GreenLight Laser TURP system.
Along with American Design & Systems(ADS), the CREST team took off the shelf hardware and reconfigured parts to create a realistic gaming system with haptic feedback.
The platform was built using advanced simulation algorithms, based on real human laser-tissue interaction and ablation.
